The NEW Frank's Place Jazz Club

The new Frank's Place Jazz Club is truly a landmark in Second Life and a definite jewel in our growing portfolio. Frank's Place has consistently been one of the most visited and beloved locations in Second Life, and being entrusted with conceiving an updated concept and design was both an honor and a tremendous opportunity. In working with Frank's Place owners Gymmy and Nanceee Sinatra, we were given tremendous creative freedom to work on the concept that is Frank's Place and take it to a whole new level. In approaching this design, we tried to preserve some of the basic aspects of the club, i.e. a raised club above the surrounding mall, a grand entrance so that every guest can be personally greeted, an open-air setting with magnificent ocean views, a raised area for private dances beneath the stars, and a setting of class and bygone elegance fit enough for the Chairman of the Board himself. The first most noticeable upgrade of the new Frank's is that it is much larger and grander in scale then previous versions of the club, but the overall elements and flow of the establishment is easily recognizable to those who have visited previous versions. We worked in stuccos, marbles, various fine woods, and distinctive deco-style etched-glass custom-designed for Frank's Place to produce an unparalleled club with an open Mediterranean feel.
